In the U.S. is there such a thing as a tiny, very small, inexpensive (even one room) home/house? If so, where?

There are, indeed, such tiny houses here and there in the nation. Chances of them being one room only, however, are slim, since they must have a working bathroom and a working kitchen in order to be classified as a house. They are not common, but they do exist.
